adhd clarity of mind entrepreneur help neurodiversity issues reaching goals Sep 08, 2025

Hi,

Thank you for finding your way to read my story.

The idea for this program came from my own experiences as a struggling entrepreneur. I had a good 15-year career as a style consultant and business style coach, but ran into great troubles. In my case there were invisible neurological factors operating behind the scenes. I was diagnosed with ADHD at a more mature age of 38, and during the past 20 years that followed, there was not much, if any help available. Out of frustration I got the idea of Never Getting There™ Coaching Program to help other entrepreneurs that are struggling with similar kind of challenges.

ADHD ENTREPRENEURS

It has been estimated that approximately 30% of all entrepreneurs have ADHD traits which gives us an indication of the numbers worldwide. Most of them just try to juggle along with the challenges this disorder causes every day, and for most people, ADHD is just an energy drainer, rarely ‘a superpower'.

ADHD has great many fine qualities that make us unique individuals with skills, talents, driving forces and visions but more often these driving forces drive us to despair. Whether it is about lack of concentration or losing focus that both prevent us from getting the job done, or in-built neurological alertness that makes our minds too vigilant to stay steady, they prevent us from reaching our goals.

So far, there has been very little help available for us adults and less so for entrepreneurs. To change that, I have created the Never Getting There Coaching Program for all those who identify with my story and experience similar challenges.

HOW COACHING HELPS

I do not only guide my clients with my solution-focused neuropsychiatric coaching methods, a professional training that I have acquired, but I am especially sharing with you my extensive experiences of the effects that ADHD can have. These insights cannot be read from books and learnt from the academics.

Very often masked ADHD challenges and untreated traumas steer our lives, behavior, and actions in the wrong direction. Only when a person is able to change direction can the situation become under their control.

I lead by experience and help my clients to start talking openly about their situation. Together we face their problems and start finding solutions one step at a time.

I personally know firsthand what kind of monstrous affects ADHD, masking it and life long hidden traumas can cause an individual. There is no fast-track solution or abracadabra magic to it, but a specialized solution-focused coaching will lead the way to steady results.

MY STORY

I grew up in a regular middle-class family in Finland. In retrospect, the only difference was that in both greater families there were many kinds of life affecting issues such as ADHD, autism spectrum, Asperger, alcoholism, narcissism, even suspected schizophrenia, to mention a few. Even my grandparents divorced in 1950’s and I was born in the middle of my parents' divorce battles.

My lifelong interest in human mind issues, psychology, and later in ADHD have made me realize that the manifestation level of ADHD is highly dependent on the early parent-infant attachment relationship and on the quality of the environment where the baby is born into. If the early homely environment provides a safe and emotionally stable place to grow, children’s neuronal and neurological response system develops in a healthy way, but if the early environment is full of quarrels and mental chaos, the neurological response system of these children will suffer and will affect them even as adults.

In my case, I developed an unhealthy emotional attachment to my carer (mom). My relationship with her was always very difficult until her passing 11 years ago. All through my childhood and in adolescence I had to share my personal space with my older sister that had a habit of bullying me. Having been born with extra sensitive neurological ADHD system, these ongoing neurologically disturbing situations at my own home must have worsened my ADHD condition. Only recently have I seen some studies about this.

Growing up in an environment where there are very poor communication and problem-solving skills can add to the trauma when nobody can express their own feelings and talk about problems in a civilized way, but must bottle them up.

We on ADHD are 2-3 times more likely to develop an addiction with intoxicating substances such as smoking, alcohol or drugs. With hidden and unprocessed traumas topped up with dysfunctional social skills, it is easy to seek relief from any burden relieving substances. Hidden traumas, masked away disorders, fears and feelings of shame are all powerful forces that guide our behavior, thoughts, and life.

Just over two years ago, I ended up with a massive amount of situational, financial and emotional troubles, a process that had accumulated all through my life. Instead of giving up, I changed my life completely by quitting drinking and started to lead a sporty and healthy lifestyle. I made peace with myself in the northern Finland in Lapland where I worked as a tourist guide and studied solution-focused neuropsychiatric coaching. Skiing on the Lappish mountains totally cleared up my confused mind.

In March 2025 I moved back further south to continue my Never Getting There Coaching Program. I want to help all entrepreneurs that experience the same or similar ADHD challenges that I had. ADHD can cripple a person's entire life if there are no help and guidance available.

I have experienced it all firsthand and now want to help you others.

Take good care of yourself.

With kindest wishes,

Tuija Kauppinen
